Summary: The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, the Internet works well, bathrooms are good and front desk staff are friendly. But the hotel is seriously let down by the food. For a start there is no room service. And the streets around are dark so it's not easy just to pop out. There is a restaurant but it is very expensive. I ate there one night.. the food took more than 30 minutes to arrive and when it did come it was cold. I asked for it to be reheated. Another 15 minutes and it came back not much warmer! And to honest not that great / Thai chicken curry but the chicken was very gristly. For $30 plus service plus drinks, and that was one of the cheapest things on the menu. So please shape up the catering if you want me back!!

Summary: This is THE BEST PLACE in Cameroon. Star Land Douala and Yaoundé. Booked Yaounde after my experience in Douala. AMAZING. For a hotel not affiliated to a “world brand”, it is just EXCEPTIONAL. Means you can be local and BEAT GLOBAL BRANDS. I can NEVER go somewhere else in Cameroon. My family loved the place even more than me. Wait till you try their PILLOWS and great organic food. My gosh. Just go. The closest experience I had was in Australia and Thailand. Amazing staff. Thank you Star Land. Worth my time and money. Looking forward to my next trip Cheers
